Description

Documentation by Clara Cheung & Ning Shan Cheng

When values are compromised, what exactly have you achieved? Ok 啊 (ah) in Cantonese is a response said when someone is either really okay with something or they are in denial about having their boundaries challenged. Rather than standing up for what they believe in, they choose to escape into the fantasy of "everything is okay" where feelings of disgust is pushed down so to get what they want in the moment. This contributes to the gradual and subtle erosion of values, thus the final genuine belief that everything is indeed okay.
