This performance highlights and explores old age, death, disabilities and family trauma. A performance dedicated to Ashley's grandmother who was an amazing cook before she became reduced in mobility and memory. By performing in a public space whose audience is mostly lower-income residents living in public estate housing, the artist wishes to bring performance art into communities and challenge increasingly commercialized art.
